![]() ![]() Future papers will build upon the arguments laid forth and culminate in a fully integrated blockchain consortium beginning at the manufacturing of parts for all entities in the network and reaching all the way down to the individual tenants in a co-location data center performing tenant-to-tenant server subletting during demand response events for the data center or macrogrid (i.e., a traditional wide area synchronous grid or colloquially, an electrical utility grid). The scope of this paper is the optimization of energy dispatch and supply from distributed resources down to a data center or microgrid supported campus. This paper is the first in a series of UN2030 Sustainable Development Goals initiative thought experiments focused on using blockchain and decentralized consensus algorithms to overcome logistical barriers to a true zero carbon emissions data center and microgrid environment. ![]()
